Engine heat is jumping around and edging towards the danger zone. I stop to investigate, and there's pressure in the coolant system, but no liquid to be seen anywhere :-) Maybe I should have checked the levels at some point.. not doing it in recent year at least. And I can't see inside the box from outside, without opening it, it is too dirty.
To make matters worse, oil level is slightly below the limit as well. Uh oh.
And to make matters much, much worse, of course now I'm fifteen kilometers from the nearest place to buy coolant or oil. Sigh.
