Rimini and Saint-Tropez swim

... on the same day, in Serbia :-)

Rimini, Venezia, and Saint-Tropez are beach bars/restaurants on the shores of the Srebrno Jezero ("Silver Lake") canal on the western side of the Danube, here N 44.762794 E 21.476549. This is within the town of Veliko Gradište, Serbia.

It seems like a popular and high-end set of hotels and beaches. The water itself seemed clean and nice, despite the canal being blocked for most of the water flow. There's also a family-style spa hotel, the Danubia Park, in the town.

Srebrno Jezero is reportedly "one of the most popular tourist destinations in Serbia" (link). That's probably overstating it given many historical and mountain destinations in the country, without seafront or major lakes in the country this can be one of the best summer swimming spots. There's been plans to build an airport with traffic not just locally but even to Germany and other international destinations. But so far the construction has not completed, and is in fact currently paused. The famous Golubac fortress (see article) is nearby.
